This 12.5m trimaran is arguably one of the most exciting and innovative new small motor yacht designs currently available. Under construction for a private client this vessel shows how individual requirements can be transformed from the computer screen to reality using modern technology.
A long low drag centre hull carries most of the weight. Two outrigger hulls, correctly known as amahs when used on a trimaran, provide improved stability, sea keeping and lower drag. A single Cummins 450 hp diesel engine powers this innovative craft via a Castoldi water jet unit. The large double bottom fuel tanks combined with low power requirements of the trimaran provide an exceptional range for exploring some of Western Australia's remote coast line.
The extra beam of a multi hull, gives the trimaran a large deck area for its size and this vessel is fitted with large windows and a split level bridge arrangement making it an ideal vessel for entertaining. The unique styling is sure to turn heads - swept forward windows are utterly practical providing excellent vision and economising on space, combined with the angular swooping super structure and hull lines which give this boat the appearance of something that has just been stolen from the set of a James Bond movie.
