Innovative structural design using advanced finite element analysis techniques ensure the most efficient use of material. For aluminium vessels in particular specialized extrusions are used, some exclusive to Damien Smith Design, that when combined with a router cut kit of parts dramatically improves the quality and productivity of the build. A 3D CAD system linked to a database manages the flow of information required by client, builder, and survey authority.
